Privacynotice
What this website collects, why, and what you can ask of us. Short, because the site does very little with your details.
DraftThis notice is draft copy. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer or approved by the restaurant, and sections marked as pending contain no confirmed facts.
What we collect
When the request and contact forms on this site are connected, they will collect what you type into them: your name, a phone number or email address, and any notes you add about your visit. Nothing else is collected by this website itself.
At present the forms are not connected. Nothing you type is sent or stored.
Why we collect it
To reply to you: to confirm a table, answer a question, or discuss an event. Your details are not used for anything else, and they are not sold or shared with anyone outside the restaurant and the email service that delivers your message.
Cookies and the map
This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and carries no advertising. If that changes, this notice will say what is set, why, and how to refuse it, and nothing non-essential will be set without your consent.
The map on the Visit Us page is an embedded Google map, and it is the only thing on this site that comes from anywhere else. No other page loads anything from outside this site. It does not load on its own: until you allow it, its place is held by a panel offering the same listing as an ordinary link, and your browser contacts Google only once you choose to load it.
When you do allow it, your browser requests the map from Google, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. Your answer is remembered in your own browser’s local storage, under “acqua-consent”. That is not a cookie: it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and you can clear it with the rest of this site’s data at any time.
If you refuse, you are not asked again, and you are only asked in the first place on a page that actually carries a map. The map keeps a “Load the map” button, so you can change your mind for a single map without changing your answer for the site.
